Winter Haiku poem

Winter icy cold 

Skis sliding down snow-mountains 

People by the fire

When I woke up the sun was shining the air was cold and I felt so excited  for swimming sports to begin.

When It was my race in the medium size pool for the ten year olds freestyle race, I came 3rd place and I had to go and tell  Mrs Curbell. Then the backstroke was on for the ten year olds, the people I was racing were Richard, Alex and Cameron. Cameron Came 1st, I came 2nd, Richard came 3rd and Alex came 4th.

Then the relays were on the first relay was the ball race. The racers were floating on their backs to the end of the pool and then they gave the ball to the other person and swam back again. They did this twice. The crowd were cheering loudly for their houses. St Anne came 1st and St Francis came 2nd.

Then the year 7&8 vs the parents and the parents won the race. I was yelling loudly “Go Mr Keogh!!!” When the parents won, I said to one of the year 8’s “Good try, better luck next time!”

I had a great day and it was so awesome.

Rock This Party

Kate showed us some really cool dance moves that I've never done before. The funny part was when we did the sprinkler. It was awesome. I had lots of fun.
