The Whole School At Tabloid Sports

On Friday, our school had Tabloid Sports on the field.
When Number Twelve got to the Canoe Race, they vs Number Six. 

When we got to the Skis, I supported my team by saying, "Go Number Twelve! Go Number Twelve!"

We said, "Left, Right!" then we were in the front of Number Ten and we won. 

When we had finished doing the skis, we walked to Steps and Stones.
Finally, when we had done the Steps and Stones, we did the Sling Shot with the square bags. We went only ten metres with the hackie sacks. I slung one past the Tug of War rope.

How To Make a Cardboard Print

You will need:
-thick cardboard
-thin cardboard
-scissors
-P.V.A. glue
-printing ink
-rollers
-paper

What To Do:
1.Cut out cardboard shapes to make a picture.
2.Glue onto template.
3. Let it dry.
4.Put paper over top.
5.Use roller to put paint on the template.
6.Put paper over top and press it with a clean roller.
7.Pull off.

Athletics Day

When I was 8 years old, our school had an Athletics Day. We all competed in lots of events, like High Jump, Long Jump, Vortex, Shot Put, Discus and Sprints.
After Mr K told St Joseph, St Francis, St Anne, and St Anthony to walk around the big field, We did high jump.  High jump is when you jump over a white pole onto a blue mat it sounded like a slap when you land on the mat. People were cheering for James, Jackson and River the best high jump people.
Next, we ran to Mr Emms for the sprint races, we had to start at 50 meters. I came 3rd place but I was still proud of myself running down the field in your you run in your own lane. I felt  nerves
Finally, We ran to vortex, Mrs Redman put us in order it went like Josh, James and River. Josh threw it to the 5th one ,then James threw it to the 4th one, then it was my turn I threw it to  the 6th one, and I came 1st , Josh came 2nd and James came 3rd I felt nervous but it was fun throwing the vortex.
It was a fun day, but I was very tired when I got home from school that afternoon.

The School Pet Day

Our school had Pet Day
First, the animals went to the courts. There was a clever possum that was brown. It made a sound like a squeak. It moved by walking on its paws. It was brought to school in a cage.
Next, there was a small mouse in a container, and there was a black cat, a dog as fast as lightning and as fat as a pig and a dog that was as brave as a lion. James brought his two goldfish, swimming in a container. They were called Cleanse and Siven.
Finally, the dogs came. They walked around in a Dog Parade in the courts, then all the dogs did tricks. Jackson’s dog did funny tricks.At the end of the day, everyone walked  all the way home.

King Arthur's Castle

Mrs Death read us the story of King Arthur, then we used three different pieces of paper and combined them to show what his castle looked like.

The Wizard of Oz

Tomorrow, we are having a production called The Wizard of Oz. I am a scarecrow dancer and we have to dance to the music and move to the beat. On Friday, I felt nervous because I wasn't sure what to do on the stage, because it was the first time we were in our costumes. I'm excited now, and especially when our parents come because after when we are done, our parents are going to clap. 

Go Kiwis

During the Olympics, I watched Nathan Cohen and Joseph Sullivan come 1st place in rowing. The water was smooth and calm, and blue. The canoes were all white. They were slow, then they were in front of them all. They were the winners. They got a gold medal. Nathan Cohen and Joseph Sulllivan were champions.

Hi. I'm River. Today I am going to my Rugby Club Prizegiving, and I think I might get a trophy. In our Rugby Season Game, we lost by 2 points. The score was 9 points to 7. I am proud of my team because we did a good job of our rugby.
