A Fishy Tale - The Loch Ness Monster

One sunny day, I went to the River Ness and caught a Loch Ness Monster.
It said, "Hello young boy, what's your name?".
"I'm River Gee," I said.
He said, "Do you want a ride on me?" and I said "Yes".
We rode out to sea and caught some fish.  He brought me home and we had the fish for dinner,  then I slept on his back because I was so tired.

The Trip To Rarotonga

My family went to Rarotonga for a trip in March 2013.
On the plane, we were playing movies and playing music.
When we landed, our house was very close to the airport. We went to Cocoa Putt. The beach was filled with fish. The weather was hot. Every day, it would spit for five seconds. It was a fun holiday.

The Freestyle Race

Yesterday, the school went to the town pools for swimming sports.
When Mr Emms called the 9 year old girls, the girls went first. They hopped into the pool. They kicked as fast as they could. Their arms went around in circles like a ball. When Mr Emms called the boys, we hopped into the pool. It was ice cold. I kicked as fast as I could. My arm went around in circles like a ball.

Shrove Tuesday

Today is Shrove Tuesday. This morning, we burnt last year's palms into ash so Father Keane can use them to make the Sign of the Cross on our foreheads tomorrow, Ash Wednesday.
